The former deputy governor of Edo State under Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, Dr. Pius Odubu, has eulogised Dr. Solomon Iyobosa Edebiri, MON, on his birthday.
In a series of tweets on his official twitter handle, @odubu2020, the former deputy governor noted that Dr. Edebiri epitomized hard work, perseverance, humility, diligence and patriotism. He added that the astute business man and former gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in the state in 2016, remained a leading light, and a man steeped in knowledge and wisdom, kindhearted in his immensely contribution to the development of Nigeria.
This is how he put it: “Dr. Solomon Iyobosa Edebiri epitomizes hard work, perseverance, humility, diligence and patriotism. You are a leading light, while some grow weary with age, your vibrancy and vision remains undimmed.
“Without mincing words, you are a man steeped in knowledge and wisdom, a kindhearted man who has contributed immensely to the development of our country.”
He added that Dr. Edebiri’s commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others was unequalled and the fact that he treasured the virtue of true friendship and loyalty to any cause he believed in made him standout.
“I pray that God Almighty grant you good health and more years of rewarding services to God and humanity. Happy many returns to a quintessential friend and brother,” Dr. Odubu said.
