SENATOR APPOINTS MORE MEMBERS INTO HIS EDO 2024 GOV’SHIP CAMPAIGN TEAM

The Senator representing Edo Central Senatorail Zone, Senator Monday Okpebholo (aka) Akpakomiza, has appointed two eminent Edo leaders, Rt. Hon. Paul Ohonbamu, and Hon. Jonathan Aifuobhokhan into the Edo 2024 Governorship Campaign Organization (SAGCO). 

In a release signed by Godswill Inegbe, Director of Media and Publicity of SAGCO, the appointments were made in order to strengthen the campaign structure of Senator Okpebholo. 

Rt. Hon. Paul Ohonbamu, who to serve as the official Spokesman of the Campaign Organization is a former Minority Leader and Deputy Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly, and has previously served as Commissioner for Communication and Orientation in Edo State.

On the other hand, Hon. Jonathan Aifuobhokhan who previously served as a Commissioner in the Edo State Independent Electoral Commission (EDSIEC) was appointed to serve as the Political Coordinator of Edo Central Senatorial District. 

He will be overseeing the political activities of the Campaign Organization in Edo Central Senatorial District. 

The appointments, which are the first of series of other appointments expected to be announced soon, according to the release, take immediate effect. 

The release added that as the Campaign Organization awaits the All Progressives Congress primaries for the guber elections in the state in February 2024, all efforts are being put in place to ensure victory for Senator Okpebholo.
