ILL-HEALTH: OBASEKI WRITES CAPT. HOSA OKUNBO, WISHES HIM SPEEDY RECOVERY


The reelected governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has writer a “quick recovery” letter to Captain ldahosa Wells Okunbor

In a leaked letter written by the governor, and signed by him, he expressed his sympathy and that of the state over the business man's ill-health, and asked him to kindly accept his best wishes, and that of the state.

The letter reads:

My dear Brother,

I am deeply sorry to learn about your health challenge. I most sincerely sympathize with you on this unfortunate development and want to assure you of my fervent prayers for your quick recovery.

I assure you that my household and all your well-wishers would continuously have you in prayers in this trying time.

It is most imperative that everyone respects your person and privacy at this time.

On behalf of the government and people of Edo State, kindly accept my best wishes, as we are hopeful that God Almighty will restore your health soonest.

It will be recalled that during  the weeks leading to the 2020 gubernatorial election in the state, Captain ldahosa Wells Okunbor, popularly called Captain Hosa, had sworn to spend his last dime to ensure that Obaseki was not reelected.

Following his ill-health, a section of the media had linked his failing health to the loss of victory by his candidate in the election, Pastr Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the APC.
