Residents of Owan West Local Government Area in Edo State, have described the installation of solar street lights in Ukhuse-Osi as a timely intervention that would go a long way to help light up the community.

The project facilitated by the Chairman, House Committee on Basic Education & Services and member representing Owan Federal Constituency, Hon. Prof. Julius O. Ihonvbere OON, is in line with his developmental agenda in providing light to communities across the constituency.

Prof. Ihonvbere in his message via his Legislative aide, Mr. Iriekpen Bright Omogbai, stated that the desire to improve the lives of the constituents remains key, therefore necessitating the installation of the street lights in Ukhuse-Osi community.

According to him, “You voted for me to represent you and I will do my best to provide what is expected of me. I will continue to do all in my capacity to accelerate democratic dividends, be transparent and accountable to my people as well as make the masses feel the impact of good governance”.

“The installation of the solar lights will help ease movement around the areas at night and lighten up the areas to help curb crimes”, he added.

The lawmaker appealed to other communities in the constituency to be patient as no community would be left out. He further assured the people of his continuous progressive and developmental plan for the good people of Owan Federal Constituency.
